As a global reverse osmosis company, Pure Aqua considers the pretreatment selection is very important in the early design stage,
The pretreatment of a reverse osmosis feed water is usually critical to the successful operation of the equipment. The finest manufactured membrane element or reverse osmosis system cannot overcome inadequate pretreatment. Constituents in the feed stream to the system must be removed, controlled, and exchanged so that as water permeates the membrane, the solids dissolved in the reject remain so as they are concentrated and then exit the system.
In an ideal application, the reverse osmosis system would only contact and reject inorganic salts such as sodium chloride at low concentrations. Calcium carbonate and other compounds are much more troublesome and less soluble, however, and found in almost all naturally occurring water. In relatively small reverse osmosis systems such as those that produce 30,000 gallons per day or less, an ion exchange water softener may be the best choice for eliminating scale precipitation. In larger systems, however, an ion exchange softener may not be as practical. Where the ion exchange softener isn’t or can’t be used to treat scale prior to RO, antiscalant injection is the logical choice. In most cases injection of 2-8 parts per million of antiscalant will control scale formation/precipitation up to 4X or more concentration of the feed water.
Available in various quantities, Reverse Osmosis Chemicals offered at Pure Aqua are high in demand. These Ro chemicals provided by us are known for their efficacious performance and are available at modest prices. We are named as one of the foremost water purifying chemicals suppliers in the world.
Also known as a sequestering agent, antiscalant chemicals are available from a variety of manufacturers. There are some fundamental chemical differences between the different products, and some have proven more effective than others controlling constituents such as silica. Much like with RO system design, software exists to help in choosing an antiscalant chemical and its dose rate.
Any major reverse osmosis company would require a detailed water analysis to determine the required pre and post treatments, including the type of RO chemicals.
The RO chemicals product range is designed to eliminate scale and reduce fouling in membrane systems, regardless of the feedwater source.
Pure Aqua Antiscalant is a range of specific Antiscalants for Reverse Osmosis Membrane effective in controlling deposition of inorganic scales. For more information, please visit: http://www.pure-aqua.com/ro-chemicals.html .
